Discover the Moroccan south with its Berber Kasbahs, amazing gorges and remote sand dunes. And experience the Sahara at night, the crisp, clean air and clear and quiet night sky, the stars so close you can almost touch them.
First you cross the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass of the High Atlas mountains. You then travel through several Berber villages, and once in the desert, the riverside oasis and barren hillsides are clustered with Kasbahs. After lunch you drive further to Valley of the Roses, with beautiful views of the Dades valley, the valley of a thousand Kasbahs. You stay overnight in Dades.
After breakfast you drive to Todra Gorge and after a short stop you continue to “Auberge du Sud” at the dunes of Erg Chebbi. You then ride camels into the dunes, and after witnessing a beautiful sunset you can enjoy a fantastic dinner and then spend the night under the stars in Berber tents.
After viewing the most beautiful sunrise and having breakfast at the camp site you will ride camels back to the Auberge. Drive to Fes, again the views will be breathtaking. You will arrive to Fes late in the afternoon after seeing the Ziz valley ;the Ceder forest and the beautiful city of Ifrane.
